The Culture Ministry on Friday dismissed reports claiming that the manager of a nightclub, which came under a Molotov attack earlier in the day, is a senior official at the ministry.

In a statement, the ministry said the manager has been working as an employee at the National Circus' marketing department.

The ministry urged the media to verify information before publishing.

Earlier, a Molotov cocktail hurled into a Giza nightclub killed 16 people and wounded at least five.
