Iraqi President Fuad Masum on Saturday met with Kurdistan's Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani on the recent security and political developments in Iraq and ways to promote relations between Baghdad and Erbil.
Talabani said that his government is committed to the oil agreement between the federal government in Baghdad and the Kurdistan Regional Government in Arbil, stressing the need for continued communication and meetings between the two sides to remove obstacles in this regard.
Masum concluded today a one-week visit to Kurdistan.
