Matrouh security apparatus, in coordination with the Salloum border guard, managed Sunday to thwart an infiltration attempt by 31 persons who tried to enter Libya illegally via Salloum.

Matrouh Security Chief Hisham Lotfy was notified of the incident.

The infiltrators included three Sudanese nationals.

Security agencies took legal measures against the perpetrators, while the general prosecution was notified to open a probe.
