Matrouh Security Director Maj. Gen. el-Anani Hamouda checked on Saturday the security forces in the province to ensure their readiness in emergency situations.
Hamouda stressed the importance of taking strict actions against those indulging in terrorism and unlawful acts.
He added that more barricades were erected and checkpoints were increased to prevent terrorists from infiltrating into the country.
