The border guards in the western military zone, in cooperation with the security apparatuses in Matrouh security directorate, managed on Thursday to thwart an infiltration attempt by 165 persons to the Libyan territories.

The infiltrators were nabbed while they were present in a military zone where civilians are not permitted to enter.

The prosecution was notified to open probe.
