Matrouh security forces have foiled an attempt by 90 persons to sneak into Libya via Salloum.

The infiltrators, including five Sudanese, were arrested while trying to sneak into Libya through desert routes in Salloum.

Egypt is doing its utmost to control the border with war-torn Libya, where illegal migrants from African countries take risky bids to travel to Europe via the Mediterranean Sea.
