Matrouh security men, in cooperation with border guard intelligence, have foiled an infiltration attempt into Libya last night.

The attempt involved 130 persons including two Sudanese nationals.

Matrouh security chief Major General Hisham Lotfy received a report about the arrested infiltrators.

They are from different part of Egypt including Meniya, Beheira, Beni Suef, Daqahliya Kafr el Sheikh, Sohag, Fayoum, Gharbiya, Qena and Assuit along with Alexandria.

They were referred to prosecution for starting an investigation.
