The official holiday to mark Israa and Miraj will be on May 5th for all workers in private sector enterprises, institutions and companies in the country, according to a ministerial circular issued today.

Saqr bin Ghubash Saeed Ghubash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, expressed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates.

He also congratulated the people of the UAE and the Arab and Islamic nations on the occasion.
