The national security sector managed to arrest a terrorist cell of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) grouping eight members before sabotaging vital facilities.

A security source told MENA on Friday that the national security sector received notification that the MB elements were planning to detonate electricity towers in Ismalia and incite violence to intimidate citizens.

Security measures have been taken against the MB members and the general prosecution has been notified to open an investigation, the source noted.
