Security bodies arrested a Muslim Brotherhood terror cell involved in the murder of a non-commissioned police officer in Daqahlia.
The seven-strong cell had targeted a family outside a school in Mansoura city, leaving two dead, including the NCO, and two more injured.
According to investigations, the cell members funded the purchase of firearms and the making of explosive charges to target security premises and gatherings in Daqahlia.
Firearms were found in their possession during the arrest, including three automatic rifles, a shotgun and two pistols.
During interrogation, the MB members confessed that they also were behind the installation of ten bombs in different areas in the governorate, some near police stations.
