Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb assured the Egyptian community in Jordan that political, economic and security conditions in Egypt are improving despite challenges.
Mehleb made the remarks during a meeting Thursday with members of the Egyptian community in Jordan on the fringe of his visit to Jordan to chair the Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee meetings which opened Wednesday.
He urged all Egyptian expatriates to increase their money transfers in hard currency to back national economy.
He added that fighting terrorism in Sinai is progressing day after day, stressing that Egyptians will not cede any inch of their lands.
He noted several cooperation deals were signed during the higher committee meetings.
He said new Suez Canal project will be inaugurated on August 6.
Meanwhile, Mehleb lauded the amicable ties between Jordanian King Abdallah II and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
