Menufiya investigators are intensifying their efforts to hunt down the attackers of a policeman at dawn Wednesday in front of his house in Shebin El Kom district of Meit Khagan.
Menufiya Security Director Momtaz Fahmy said the attackers knocked the doors of the policemen, 45, and when he opened the door, they shot him dead and fled the scene.
The body was moved to Shebin El Kom morgue and prosecution was ordered to launch a probe.
