Cairo - MENA
The Metro Line 2 (Giza-Shubra) was back to normal after a technical glitch hit one of its vehicles, the Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation said.
The passengers were evicted from the malfunctioning train in Dokki Station and the train was towed by maintenance teams, Cairo Metro Spokesman Ahmed Abdel Hadi said.
The technical malfunction in the vehicle’s brakes system delayed the subway movement on the line for 15 minutes, he said.
