Alexandria anti-riot police dispersed a march organized by members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group on Thursday.
About 30 members of the blacklisted group hurled petrol bombs at the forces, the interior ministry said in a statement.
Thirteen protesters were arrested, the statement added.
