Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi has assigned a recruitment committee to certify the military status of residents of Matrouh who have not served in the army.

All those who have not applied for military service and are now over 30 years of age will be exempted and given certificates to that effect.

The panel will be receiving applicants as of December 12 and for six days.
