Military reinforcements have been sent to Ramadi to help the Iraqi military forces ward off an attack by Daesh terrorist group in the western Iraqi city.

A well-placed security source stressed that the US consultants are still at the airbase of "Ain Al-Assad".

The US experts are coordinating with the international coalition and Iraqi security forces to purge the city of Ramadi from the terrorist group, he said.
