Riyadh - Arab Today
Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Sahr Nasr underlined that she was not surprised by the courageous decisions made during the visit of the Saudi King Salman to Cairo.
She further stressed that the monarch's announcement that a bridge will be established between Egypt and Saudi Arabia is like a gift for the Egyptians and shows the great stance of the country for the king.
In statements to Saudi Okaz newspaper on Sunday, Nasr said that the meetings she prepared for the Saudi-Egyptian Coordination Council reflected the seriousness of the Saudis, noting that the visit will have a good outcome for both countries and the whole region.
Building the bridge will contribute to promoting joint cooperation thanks to the brotherly relations binding the two nations' leaderships which attained during few months great achievements that were not achieved in long decades, the minister reiterated.
