Minya Governor Salaheddin Zeyada offered condolences to the family of a slain conscript, who was killed in the terror attacks in North Sinai last week.
In statements, Zeyada said that the incident will not undermine the will of Egyptians.
Terrorists on Thursday attacked a number of police and army headquarters in the North Sinai city of Arish, leaving dozens of people dead and others injured.
