A joint force of 'Misrata Brigades' announced an immediate ceasefire in the city, which had so far not been affected by the unrest in Libya.
In a joint statement, the brigades called for protecting Libyans, saying the Libyan blood is "a red line."
They called on all Libyan factions to seek ways to close their ranks.
