His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Friday received a call from US President Barack Obama, during which he briefed him on the framework deal regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
Sheikh Mohamed expressed the hope for the conclusion of a final abiding agreement that contributes towards enhancement of security and stability in the region and wider world.
HH and President Obama discussed ways to solidify the distinguished bilateral friendship ties for the best interests of the two countries. They also exchanged views on a variety of issues of mutual concern and the latest regional developments, notably the evolving events in Yemen.
The two sides emphasised their keenness to strengthen pillars of peace and stability in the region.
