The Interior Ministry’s department of prisons agreed on Monday to move 44 inmates to prisons near the residences of their families, raising the number of prisoners under the same category to 425 since the beginning of 2016.

The move aimed at meeting the prisons’ department strategy on providing utmost care for prisoners and observing the humanitarian and social aspects of their lives.
