More people have gathered near Tahrir Square to protest a criminal court ruling to acquit former president Hosni Mubarak, his sons and other regime figures.
Some protesters tried to enter the iconic square from the Egyptian Museum street.
They shouted slogans against Mubarak. They called for bringing justice over the killing of protesters during the January 25 revolution.
