Head of the Elderly Care Department at the Ministry of Social Development, Jamal Bedow, has paid a visit to Muharraq Elderly Day Care Home, and revealed the ministry's plan on providing more health, psychological and social services for the elderly in various care homes.
He was informed of health, cultural and social services provided for the elderly aimed at raising the spirit of hope and optimism among them.
He was briefed on the programmes organized by Muharraq Elderly Day Care Home that aimed at comforting the elderly and getting them engaged in regular activities.
