More than 1,200 Egyptians have been evacuated from Yemen since the start of the conflict there, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati said Friday.

Abdel Aati said that over 70 Egyptians crossed al Tawal border crossing between Yemen and Saudi Arabia on Friday.

He added that 100 citizens crossed the border into Oman, while 75 others were moved by sea to Djibouti.
