Moroccan Monarch King Mohammed VI pardoned 13,218 convicts, marking the 15th anniversary of his accession to the throne.
According to the Ministry of Justice and Freedoms, detainees, prisoners on parole and 119 convicts who were released for humanitarian reasons benefited from the royal amnesty.
