Egypt's ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi

One of the deposed president Mohamed Morsi's sons was released Tuesday from prison after spending a one-year term over drug addiction.

Abdullah Morsi and his friend Mohamed Emad were sentenced to one year in jail and fined EGP 10,000 each for drug addiction inside a car in Obour city in Qaliobiya.

Criminal investigations were conducted to make sure that the released does not face other charges.
