Cairo Criminal Court has adjourned until Sunday the trial of deposed president Mohamed Morsi and 35 other defendants held on espionage charges.
The court took the decision to hear the pleading of the defendant's lawyers.
The defendants are accused of spying for foreign countries and organizations and disclosing secrets about Egypt's national security.
They also face charges of coordinating with Jihadist organizations inside and outside Egypt with the aim to carry out terrorist attacks on Egyptian soil.
