Cairo - MENA
Former Arab League secretary general Amr Moussa called for a deterrent response to the terrorist attack which targeted a border checkpoint near el-Farafra oasis of the New Valley province on Saturday.
Egypt will not stand idly by leaving these hate-driven blood-thirsty gangs terrorize its people, he said. The perpetrators of this crime and its likes will not go unpunished, he stressed.
Moussa mourned the victims of the attack and emphasized that such incident will not discourage the Armed Forces from bearing its national responsibility to protect the homeland.
