Former Arab League secretary general Amr Moussa received the acting Iranian ambassador to Egypt after taking office.
They conferred on the Syrian crisis, Daesh, the latest developments in Yemen and the Palestinian issue.
Moussa reviewed the Egyptian role in the region and the Arab vision for the relations with Iran.
At the end Moussa invited Iran to seize the chance to agree with the Arabs on the Palestinian cause.
