Former interior minister Habib el-Adly and former president Hosni Mubarak's sons, Gamal and Alaa were taken back to Tora prison after attending a trial over protesters killing during the January 25 revolution, Deputy Interior Minister Maj. General Mohamed Rateb said on Saturday.
El-Adly and Mubarak's sons, Gamal and Alaa, will continue to be jailed in serving other terms of imprisonment, Rateb said.
Adly is still serving a five-year term over squandering public funds in the 'license plates' case.
Meantime, Gamal and Alaa are serving four-year prison sentences over embezzling state funds allocated to presidential palaces. They were indicted for using state funds for personal purposes.
