Mufti of Egypt Dr Shawki Allam denounced the terrorist attack which targeted the motorcade of Prosecutor General Counselor Hisham Barakat Monday morning.

The Mufti stressed that Islam has nothing to do with such heinous acts which are carried out by criminal and extremist groups.

The message of Islam is to protect Mankind, he said, adding that such acts would never stand in the way of work and construction, he added.
