Egypt's Mufti Shawqy Allam on Tuesday hailed the eternal historical and fraternal relations between the Egyptian and Palestinian peoples.

During a meeting with a delegation of Murabitun authority in Al Quds, Allam reiterated strong condemnation of Israeli repeated violations against Al Aqsa holy mosque.

He praised the role played by the Murabitun authority to defend Al Quds and Al Aqsa.

The mufti also reiterated Egypt's pro-Palestinian position.

He was briefed on the recent developments in Al Quds and the Islamic holy sites there.

The delegation of Murabitun authority in Al Quds is currently paying a five-day visit, at the invitation of the Middle East News Agency (MENA), to shed light on Israeli violations to Al Quds.
