Security forces have killed a Muslim Brotherhood member in Kerdasa in Giza, after they engaged in a shootout when they were attempting to storm his house, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Monday.
Security forces raided the house, after a tip that it was used as a storage space for improvised explosive devices, which the police found upon entering the house, added the statement.
The statement also said that security forces searched the terrorist's house and found 2 bombs like those used in the Maryoutiya blast, which left several policemen dead and injured.
The Interior Ministry affirmed that it is exerting strenuous efforts to pursue Muslim Brotherhood members and detect hotbeds of criminal, terrorist and outlaws.
