Four people were injured when Muslim Brotherhood protesters, who took to the streets of Abu Hammad city of Sharqiya governorate, shot at them using cartouche guns.

Dozens of the moved on the city streets, chanting anti-police and army slogans, forcing residents and owners of shops to confront them. They then responded by fire.

The protesters fled when police forces rushed to the scene.

The injured were moved to hospitals and prosecution was notified.
