Egypt's security bodies have carried out nationwide campaigns to seize unlicensed firearms and arrest outlaws, drug dealers and fugitives.

In Minya, policemen arrested six persons for being involved in arson attacks, possessing firearms and drugs. A large amount of firearms were seized as well.

Also, six members of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood were arrested in Suez governorate.
