NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Thursday the military alliance will decide in December on whether to include Montenegro, Sputnik reported.

“We will decide on whether to invite Montenegro into NATO by the end of the year,” Stoltenberg told journalists at a press conference.

He said the decision would be made during a foreign ministerial meeting scheduled in December.

“At the foreign ministerial meeting, I assume they will make a decision in December,” he said.
