The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) has called for international cooperation to fight terrorism.

The UN should lead efforts to combat this international phenomenon, said NCHR Secretary General Mokhles Qotb on Tuesday.

It should urge world countries to adopt measures that should be part of a comprehensive confrontation of terrorism that threatens peoples' right to a safe life, Qotb added.
