The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) will hold a discussion session Friday at the United Nations Human Rights Office in Geneva over democracy and human rights in Egypt.
The NCHR will hold the discussion in cooperation with the Arab Organization For Human Rights (AOHR) and Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR).
The session is part of Egypt's preparations for the country’s UN human rights review.
NCHR's President Mohamed Fayeq, head of EOHR Hafez Abu Seada and AOHR's secretary general Alaa Shalaby will take part in the session.
It is also expected to discuss laws which protect human rights and challenges facing Cairo to strengthen the rule of law.
