Six masked men on motorbikes opened fire at a non-commissioned police officer after midnight in the Giza district of Kerdasa, leaving him dead.

The armed men were driving three motorbikes when they shot dead Ahmed Abdel Aal from the National Security Sector Force at 1:30 a.m., an official media source at the Interior Ministry said.

Security agencies are exerting efforts to catch the attackers, the source added.
