Cairo - MENA
Efforts are underway to start negotiations regarding signing a free trade agreement between Egypt and the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC), which groups Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia along with Armenia, which has recently joined the EAEC, said Industry, Trade and Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel-Nour.
He, meanwhile, said that he will pay a visit to Belarus within the upcoming two weeks, upon the invitation of the Belorussian side.
The EAEC countries welcome the start of the negotiations as soon as possible, Abdel-Nour added in press statements Thursday.
