New Arab Labor Organization Director General Fayez al Moteiri was sworn in before the Arab League Secretary General on Sunday for a four-year term (2015-2019).
Arab League Chief Nabil el Araby stressed the importance of the role played by the organization and its director general in serving joint Arab issues particularly in terms of labor and production.
Moteiri is a prominent figure who represents laborers as he has been elected to represent the International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions (ICATU).
He voiced hope that the new director general would serve issues pertaining to labor and laborers.
