Justice Minister Mahfouz Saber opened on Tuesday a district court in Kafr el Sheikh Governorate.
The minister said a plan had been laid to upgrade Egypt courts archiving and filing systems.
"Moving from a paper-based environment to one that is primarily electronic will transform the way Egypt courts work," he said.
The new court is a three-storey building over an area of 9,000 square meters.
