Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab issued a decision to appoint Hala Mohamed Sultan Abu Ali as the secretary general of the National Council for Childhood & Motherhood (NCCM) for a year.

Abu Ali is a professor at the faculty of economics and political science at Cairo University.
