The New Valley Governor Mahmoud Ashmawy took part on Wednesday in the first march marking the inauguration of the New Suez Canal.

A huge number of children and youth participated in the march which shows the happiness of the residents of the New Valley with this great venture achieved by Egyptians in a record time.

Ashmawy said that the celebrations will continue till the official inauguration of the canal on August 6.
