Luxor Security Chief Hossam el-Menawi dismissed on Tuesday news reports that a sound bomb was found in the Valley of the Kings area.
"All bomb threats reports are taken seriously," he said, noting that bomb explosions are relatively rare at the archaeological sites as they are fully secured.
