The Sudanese army denied the infiltration of extremist religious groups of Daesh or Qaeda from the Libyan borders into Sudan.

The Sudanese-Libyan borders are completely secured although major challenges have been facing joint forces from the two countries due to the deteriorating security situation in Libya, military spokesman Colonel al Sawarmy Khaled Saad told "Khartoum" newspaper out Saturday.

Saad rejected accusations that Sudan has been supporting certain factions in Libya, affirming that it was not in Sudan's interest to fuel tension in Libya.
