Suez Security Chief Tarek el Jazar underlined that no injuries or deaths took place during foiling a jailbreak attempt inside Faisal police station, adding that the security conditions inside the station are stable.
In statements on Saturday, el Jazar said that a prisoner set fire to a blanket so that he can oblige the jailer to open the door of the prison and escape.
The situation was controlled, he added.
