A security source said that the April 6 Movement and the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group had not staged any protests in Abdel Moneim Riad Square in downtown Cairo on Friday.
Army and police troops are deployed at entrances and exits of the iconic squares of Tahrir and Abdel Moneim Riad to provide security, the source added.
