North Sinai governor Abdel Fattah Harhoor inspected on Sunday the second phase of buffer zone planned along the border with the Gaza Strip.
This phase's length is 500m. The planned zone's width is five kms.
Compensations have been paid for the residents who were relocated in the first stage, said the governor.
