North Sinai security forces detonated an explosive charge that was planted by unidentified people, security sources said.

A loud explosion was heard and smoke drifted high in the sky, but no casualties were reported, the sources said.

security forces combed the area to make sure that there is no more explosives and pursue those involved in planting the bomb.
